We should mention about the upset which took place in Ferentino, where 10th ranked AcegasAps TR (8-9) lost to thirteenth ranked FCM Ferentino (7-10) in a road game 73-86. The hosts were ahead by 2 points but lost the second period ending it with a 4-point deficit before their 27-10 run, which allowed them to win the game. FCM Ferentino shot 33 for 44 from the free-throw line, while AcegasAps TR only scored seventeen points from the stripe. FCM Ferentino forced 20 AcegasAps TR turnovers. 29 personal fouls committed by AcegasAps TR helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
