No shocking result in a game when second ranked Fujitsu RW (21-6) beat 7th ranked Denso Iris (10-17) in Kawasaki 64-49 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 64-49. Fujitsu RW dominated on the defensive end, holding Denso Iris to just 6 points in second quarter. They made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Denso Iris helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International forward Moeko Nagaoka (180-93) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 18 rebounds. Fujitsu RW maintains second place with 21-6 record having six points less than leader Toyota B SR. Denso Iris at the other side keep the seventh position with 17 games lost. Fujitsu RW are looking forward to face Mitsubishi K. (#5) in Nagoya in the next round. Denso Iris will play at home against Chanson V-M in Shizuoka and are hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
