The biggest surprise of round 18 was guest Ramat Hasharon's (7-9) easy road victory over Galil Elion (#6) 77-52 on Monday evening. The game without a history. Ramat Hasharon led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Ramat Hasharon outrebounded Galil Elion 44-27 including 16 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard Alexis Gray-Lawson (173-87, college: California) who scored 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Naturalized American forward Alysha Clark (178-87, college: Middle Tenn.St.) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Christine Flores (190-90, college: Missouri) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and her fellow American import forward Adaora Elonu (185-90, college: Texas A&M) added 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ramat Hasharon moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Elitzur Holon. Galil Elion at the other side keeps the sixth position with ten games lost. They share it with Hap.Petah Tikva and H.R. Le-Zion.
