Important game to mention about took place in Jerusalem. Fifth ranked Hapoel Jerusalem (9-7) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 6th ranked Bnei Hasharon (7-9) 70-67 on Monday evening. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Bnei Hasharon won third quarter 13-12. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Meir Tapiro (192-75, agency: Avi Zilberman) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Hapoel Jerusalem moved-up to third place, which they share with Netanya and Maccabi Haifa. Bnei Hasharon at the other side keeps the sixth position with nine games lost.
