Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Winnipeg, MB: Wesmen (#4) and Bisons (#3). Bisons were defeated at home 85-89 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. The guests trailed by 13 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 4 points. The best player for the winners was guard Andrew Cunningham (186, college: Redlands CC) who scored 33 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 7 assists (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field). American guard Jordan Clennon (183, college: West Plains JC) chipped in 10 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Jonar Huertas (183) who recorded 27 points and 5 rebounds and forward Yigit Ozsayiner (198) added 22 points respectively. Five Wesmen and four Bisons players scored in double figures. Wesmen have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Manitoba. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
