An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Dabrowa Gornicza. First ranked Slask Wroclaw faced 3rd placed MKS DG. Guests from Wroclaw (22-1) defeated host MKS DG (14-9) 87-78. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 87-78. Slask Wroclaw made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for point guard Marcin Flieger (182-84, agency: Promotex) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 4 assists. Four Slask Wroclaw and five MKS DG players scored in double figures. Slask Wroclaw have an impressive series of twenty two victories in a row. They maintain first place with 22-1 record. Loser MKS DG keeps the third position with nine games lost. They share it with Sokol Lancut and MOSiR Krosno. Slask Wroclaw will meet at home Znicz Basket (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. MKS DG will play against Stal Ostrow (#6) in Ostrow Wlkp. and hope to secure a win.
