Regular Season Round 28: Boras - Jamtland 93-84

Date: February 16, 2013
Very expected game when 9th ranked KFUM Jamtland (7-21) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Boras Basket (20-8) 93-84. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But KFUM Jamtland won third quarter 22-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Boras Basket had a 29-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by American point guard James Miller (180-79, college: N.Carolina A&T, agency: Higher Vision Sports) who scored that evening 29 points and 6 assists and Norwegian-American guard Terrence Oglesby (188-88, college: Clemson) supported him with 23 points. Even 20 points and 9 rebounds by American-Liberian power forward Boakai Lalugba (202-81, college: Bucknell) did not help to save the game for KFUM Jamtland. American swingman Tim Whitworth (198-81, college: Drexel) added 19 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Four Boras Basket and five KFUM Jamtland players scored in double figures. Boras Basket have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. KFUM Jamtland lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 21 games lost. Boras Basket will play against bottom-ranked Nassjo (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. KFUM Jamtland will play against the league's leader Sundsvall Dragons and hopes to get back on the winning track.
