The game in Stadrbredimus was also quite interesting. 4th placed Residence (11-9) played at the court of sixth ranked Musel Pikes (12-9). Musel Pikes managed to secure a 5-point victory 68-63 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Residence. The hosts trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 17-9 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American players dominated the game. It was an exceptional evening for forward Trenton Wurtz (203-83, college: Indiana St.) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. Power forward Brandon Gary (202-83, college: Hutchinson CC) accounted for 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 blocks for the winning side. Forward Marcus Kennedy (193-84, college: Montevallo, agency: Interperformances) came up with 12 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Dustin Scott (203-85, college: Charleston) added 14 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Residence in the defeat. Four Residence players scored in double figures. Musel Pikes moved-up to fourth place. Loser Residence dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. Musel Pikes will meet league's second-placed Amicale in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Residence will play against T71 in Dudelange and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
