Bottom-ranked Lagun Aro GBC managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the series of three consecutive loses on Saturday night. This time they won against fourteenth-ranked Blancos de Rueda in San Sebastian 94-78. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 16-point difference suggests that Lagun Aro GBC is in a good shape to leave the bottom place. The game without a history. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Lagun Aro GBC (4-17) moved-up to seventeenth place, which they share with Assignia M. Loser Blancos de Rueda dropped to the thirteenth position with 13 games lost. They share it with CB Canarias. Lagun Aro GBC will meet higher ranked Gescrap BB (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Blancos de Rueda will play against Unicaja Malaga (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
