We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 10th ranked Viterbo (5-14) was defeated at home by eleventh ranked Calabria (5-14) 55-48 on Saturday. Viterbo was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Calabria forced 19 Viterbo turnovers and outrebounded them 43-32 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Bosnian center Selma Delibasic (193-80) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and forward Elisabetta Linguaglossa (184-87) chipped in 10 points and 9 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Anna Romagnoli (175-92) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 8 rebounds and Czech center Martina Rejchova (195-83) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. Calabria moved-up to tenth place in South, which they share with defeated Viterbo. Viterbo lost their sixth game in a row.
