The most exciting game of round 19 in the WNBL took place in Dandenong. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of their biggest opponent Dandenong Rangers (19-5) to third ranked Adelaide Lightning (18-6) 71-69 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Dandenong Rangers. The guests trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 18-10 charge, which allowed them to win the game.
