Another exciting game for Enel Brindisi (10-9) which hosted 4th placed Cantu (12-7). Eighth ranked Enel Brindisi won 69-65. Cantu was ahead by 4 points after three quarters before a 21-13 charge of Enel Brindisi, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 22 Cantu turnovers. It was a great evening for American point guard Jonathan Gibson (188-87, college: N.Mexico St., agency: Three Eye Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side Belgian point guard Jonathan Tabu (190-85) responded with 14 points and 4 steals and the former international Pietro Aradori (195-88) scored 13 points. Cantu's coach Andrea Trinchieri rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Enel Brindisi moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Trenkwalder RE and Umana VE. Cantu at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with EA7 Armani and Acea Virtus RM. Enel Brindisi will play against Umana Venezia (#7) on the road in the next round. Cantu will play against the league's leader Cimberio Varese having rather not much hope for a victory.
