The game between closely ranked teams ended with 8th ranked Sea Hawks' (1-17) road loss to seventh ranked Varsity Reds (6-12) in Fredericton, NB 58-86 on Sunday. The game without a history. Varsity Reds led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Varsity Reds forced 24 Sea Hawks turnovers. Guard William Mc Fee (190) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points. Forward Jordan Irvine (193) contributed with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Varsity Reds players scored in double figures. Vasilije Curcic answered with 27 points and 4 assists and Noel Moffatt added 9 points in the effort for Sea Hawks. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Varsity Reds moved-up to sixth place, which they share with St.Mary's. Loser Sea Hawks keep the eighth position with 17 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
