A very interesting game took place in Perugia. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Treviglio (12-10) to eighteenth ranked Perugia (6-17) 79-76 on Sunday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Treviglio won third quarter 21-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Perugia especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 68.8 percentage. Davide Poltroneri (195-85) fired 28 points for the winners. Forward Simone Bonamente (203-79) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. Perugia's coach Andrea Fabrizi allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The former international guard Davide Reati (193-88) produced 31 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Matteo Raminelli (203-83) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Perugia maintains eighteenth place with 6-17 record. Treviglio at the other side keeps the sixth position with ten games lost. Perugia's next round opponent will be higher ranked Castelletto (#4) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
