The game with biggest result difference took place in Urumqi. Local Xinjiang Flying Tige (21-11) outscored 6th ranked DongGuan Leopards (17-15) 118-71. The game was mostly controlled by Xinjiang Flying Tige. DongGuan Leopards was better in second period 30-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Xinjiang Flying Tige dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to DongGuan Leopards' 36. They outrebounded DongGuan Leopards 47-28 including a 33-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Xinjiang Flying Tige players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by DongGuan Leopards' players. American guard Von Wafer (196-85, college: Florida St.) notched 31 points and 4 assists to lead the effort and the other American import forward James Singleton (203-81, college: Murray St.) supported him with 19 points and 13 rebounds. Five Xinjiang Flying Tige players scored in double figures. Even 29 points by American forward Marcus Haislip (208-80, college: Tennessee) did not help to save the game for DongGuan Leopards. Power forward TongLin Sun (208-92) added 5 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Xinjiang Flying Tige have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Beijing Ducks. DongGuan Leopards at the other side keep the sixth position with 15 games lost.
