There was no surprise in Kariya where 8th ranked Aishin Wings (8-21) were defeated by sixth ranked Denso Iris (12-17) 64-58. Aishin Wings were tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. It was a great shooting night for Denso Iris especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Kumiko Oba (169-88) who helped to win the game recording 20 points. Forward Chisa Yoshida (178-88) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Forward Aya Goto (173-89) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and forward Yuka Maeda (173-84) added 5 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Aishin Wings. Aishin Wings' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Denso Iris maintains sixth place with 12-17 record, which they share with Niigata. Aishin Wings lost their eighth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 21 games lost.
