Very expected game in Fredericton where 8th ranked UNB (2-18) was defeated by fourth ranked Memorial (11-9) 62-47 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Memorial. UNB was better in second period 12-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was Sandra Amoah who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Grace Fishbein (180-90) chipped in 13 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Forward Samantha Kaminsky (186) produced 6 points and 10 rebounds and center Rachel Cleary (182) added 8 points respectively for the hosts. UNB's coach rotated eleven players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for Memorial. They maintain fourth place with 11-9 record.
