There was no surprise in Pandang where 11th ranked NSH GMC Riau (1-11) was crushed by seventh ranked Hangtuah (7-6) 86-65. The game without a history. Hangtuah led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to NSH GMC Riau's 34. They outrebounded NSH GMC Riau 49-38 including a 36-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Hangtuah brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. NSH GMC Riau was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch.
