The game between third ranked Maccabi Ramat Hen (8-9) and fourth ranked Ramat Hasharon (8-9) was the most important one in the last round on Monday night. Maccabi Ramat Hen was crushed by Ramat Hasharon in Ramat Hen 58-81. The game was mostly controlled by Ramat Hasharon. Maccabi Ramat Hen managed to win fourth quarter 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Maccabi Ramat Hen 49-28 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Ramat Hasharon especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Briann January (173-87, college: Arizona St., agency: Josep and Nicolas) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Amisha Carter (186-82, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Josep and Nicolas) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Ramat Hasharon's coach Orna Ostfeld felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. point guard Ivory Latta (168-84, college: N.Carolina) answered with 22 points and center Jenna Smith (191-88, college: Illinois) added 11 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Maccabi Ramat Hen. Ramat Hasharon moved-up to third place, which they share with Maccabi R.Hen. Ramat Hasharon will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Maccabi Ramat Hen will play on the road against Elitzur Holon and is hoping to win this game.
