Regular Season Round 29: Nassjo - Boras 84-78

The game between third ranked Boras Basket (20-9) and eleventh ranked Nassjo (6-23) was the most important one in the last round on Tuesday night. Boras Basket was defeated by Nassjo in a tough game in Nassjo 78-84. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Boras Basket. Boras Basket was trailing by 12 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 27-20 charge of Nassjo, which allowed them to win the game. They made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Nassjo had a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American forward William Walker (200-87, college: Bethel, IN, agency: Warren Sports International) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds. Canadian point guard Tut Ruach (188-85) chipped in 26 points and 5 rebounds. Walker is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The former international center Michael Palm (209-79, college: W.Washington, agency: R.H.Consultancy) produced a double-double by scoring 31 points and 11 rebounds and American point guard James Miller (180-79, college: N.Carolina A&T, agency: Higher Vision Sports) added 11 points and 7 assists respectively for the guests. Nassjo moved-up to tenth place. Boras Basket at the other side dropped to the fourth position with nine games lost. Nassjo are looking forward to face higher ranked KFUM Jamtland (#9) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Boras Basket will play against Solna Vikings (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
