The game in Halifax, NS supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Axemen (15-4) played at the court of 7th ranked Huskies (6-13). Axemen smashed Huskies 96-63 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Axemen. Huskies managed to win second period 25-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Axemen shot 60.3 percent from the field. Axemen outrebounded Huskies 44-33 including a 36-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage.
