Very important is a road loss of second ranked Elitzur Netanya (6-12) against fourth ranked Hap.Petah Tikva (7-11) on Thursday night. Visiting Elitzur Netanya was defeated by Hap.Petah Tikva in Petah Tikva 88-73. It was a key game for the second position in Places 6-9. The game was mostly controlled by Hap.Petah Tikva. Elitzur Netanya was better in second period 28-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hap.Petah Tikva players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American point guard Porsche Poole (172-89, college: Michigan St.) notched 28 points and 7 assists to lead the effort and the other American import guard Rebekah Gardner (185-90, college: UCLA) supported her with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 26 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals by Jamaican-American point guard Maurita Reid (173-85, college: Miami, FL) did not help to save the game for Elitzur Netanya. American forward Chastity Reed (185-89, college: UALR) added 11 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the guests. Four Elitzur Netanya players scored in double figures. Hap.Petah Tikva moved-up to second place in Places 6-9. Elitzur Netanya at the other side dropped to the third position with 12 games lost. They share it with Galil Elion.
