Regular Season Round 24: Evreux - Fos Ouest 75-77

The most exciting game of round 24 in the ProB took place in Evreux. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of second-best ALM Evreux (17-7) to seventh ranked Fos Ouest (15-9) 77-75 on Friday evening. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But ALM Evreux won third quarter 19-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Fos Ouest won last quarter 23-23. The best player for the winners was Moroccan-Canadian Mohamed Hachad (194-83, college: Northwestern) who scored 17 points and 7 assists. The former international power forward Sacha Giffa (202-77) chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Jeremiah Wood (200-85, agency: Court Side) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Clevin Hannah (180-87, college: Wichita St., agency: Court Side) added 14 points and 6 assists respectively. Four ALM Evreux players scored in double figures. Fos Ouest have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Antibes. ALM Evreux at the other side keeps the second position with seven games lost. Fos Ouest is looking forward to face SO Maritime Boulogne (#7) at home in the next round. ALM Evreux will play against Charleville-Mezieres (#18) and is hoping to win this game.
