Very predictable result in Novi Zagreb where second ranked Lupa Promotion (15-1) smashed 7th ranked Tresnjevka (6-10) 112-68. The game was mostly controlled by Lupa Promotion. Tresnjevka was better in fourth quarter 19-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Lupa Promotion dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Tresnjevka's 52. Lupa Promotion forced 26 Tresnjevka turnovers and outrebounded them 41-30 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Five Lupa Promotion players scored in double figures. Bosnian power forward Ivana Jovanovic (185-85) replied with 17 points and guard Marijana Mamic (175-93) added 9 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Tresnjevka. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lupa Promotion have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Gospic. Tresnjevka lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eighth place with ten games lost. Lupa Promotion's next round opponent will be Studenac Omis (#11) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Tresnjevka will play against ZKK Medvescak in Zagreb.
