Leading Taby Basket (14-4) recorded its fourth loss at the home court. Hosts were defeated by fourth ranked Umea (13-7) 86-77. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Umea made 26-of-34 charity shots (76.5 percent) during the game, while Taby Basket only scored eight points from the stripe. Taby Basket was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for forward Per Bergmark (195-89) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Albin Frank (184-90) helped adding 19 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. At the losing side point guard Jimmy Lundin (184-90) responded with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and swingman Erik Andersson (197-87) scored 19 points and 9 rebounds. Newly promoted Umea maintains fourth place in North with 13-7 record. Taby Basket at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. They share it with Akropol. Umea will play against Orongo Dragons (#9) in Sundsvall in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Taby Basket will play on the road against Solna Branten (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
