Very important is a home loss of third ranked Stingers (9-7) against fifth ranked Rouge et Or (4-12) on Saturday night. Host Stingers were crushed by Rouge et Or in Montreal, QC 84-62. Rouge et Or dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Stingers' 32. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Stingers' players. Antoine Beaumier nailed 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and Thibaud Dezutter accounted for 20 points and 6 rebounds. Four Rouge et Or players scored in double figures. Ivorian forward Kafil Eyitayo (201) came up with 13 points and 8 rebounds and American guard Adam Chmielewski (182, college: St.Francis, NY) added 19 points respectively for Stingers in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rouge et Or maintains fifth place with 4-12 record. Stingers at the other side keep the third position with seven games lost.
