Very expected game when 11th ranked La Palma (4-12) lost at home to third ranked Prat Juventud (11-6) 68-56 on Saturday. The game without a history. Prat Juventud led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a good game for swingman Guillem Vives (190-93) who led his team to a victory with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Power forward Gerbert Marti (203-91) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Prat Juventud players scored in double figures. point guard Fabio Santana (188-92, agency: Beo Basket) replied with 15 points and forward Anaterve Cruz (196-86) added 14 points in the effort for La Palma. Prat Juventud have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. La Palma at the other side stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. Prat Juventud will face Aurteneche M. (#5) in Vitoria-Gasteiz in the next round. La Palma will play on the road against Palma (#7) in S'Arenal and be promoted back to the LEB Gold just one year after relegation.
