Regular Season Round 37: Niigata Albirex - Toyama Grouses 87-62

An interesting game for Niigata Albirex (26-9) which hosted in Niigata 4th placed Toyama Grouses (22-13). First ranked Niigata Albirex had an easy win 87-62. Niigata Albirex outrebounded Toyama Grouses 47-33 including a 36-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Niigata Albirex especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.5 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Niigata Albirex maintains first place with 26-9 record. Toyama Grouses at the other side keep the fourth position with 13 games lost. Niigata Albirex's next round opponent will be again Toyama Grouses (#4) at home.
