Regular Season Round 19: BG Lulea - Solna Branten 79-89

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Solna Branten (9-9) beat on the road 11th ranked BG Lulea (2-15) 89-79 on Saturday. It was a great shooting night for Solna Branten especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. It was a very good performance for forward Jesper Eliasson (204-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 19 rebounds. Niklas Larsson (198-94) contributed with 23 points for the winners. Forward Andreas Von Uthmann (196-96) answered with 12 points and 5 rebounds and forward Jesper Hallberg (196-95) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for BG Lulea. Four Solna Branten and five BG Lulea players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for Solna Branten. They maintain sixth place in North with 9-9 record. BG Lulea lost their third game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with 15 games lost. Solna Branten will face league's leader Taby Basket at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BG Lulea will play against KFUM Blackebergs (#5) in Vallingby.
