Very important is a road loss of third ranked Herten Lions (12-8) against eleventh ranked Dorsten (8-12) on Saturday night. Visiting Herten Lions were defeated by Dorsten in Dorsten 81-70. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Christopher Jones (183-88, college: Prairie View A&M) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals and the other American import center Blake Poole (195-88, college: St.Martin's) who added 9 points and 14 rebounds during the contest. Four Dorsten players scored in double figures. American forward Will Taylor (200-89, college: Cal Poly - SLO) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds and power forward Christoph Hackenesch (204-86) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Dorsten moved-up to ninth place in Group North, which they share with Wulfen and Hannover. Herten Lions at the other side keep the third position with eight games lost. Dorsten will play against higher ranked Herzoege Wolfenbuettel (#7) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
