Very predictable result when second ranked AZS Kutno (17-7) defeated at home 13th ranked Astoria Bydg. (10-15) 93-84 on Saturday. Astoria Bydg. was trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 32-19 charge of AZS Kutno, which allowed them to win the game. They made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. AZS Kutno outrebounded Astoria Bydg. 41-24 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Point guard Dawid Brek (185-89, agency: Promotex) stepped up and scored 29 points and 6 assists for the winners and forward Jakub Dluski (200-87) chipped in 15 points and 16 rebounds.
