Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Clinicas Rincon (10-7) won against 8th ranked Fontedoso Carrefour (6-11) in Avila 75-70 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 21-13 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Clinicas Rincon dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Fontedoso Carrefour's 18. It was a good game for Bosnian-Serbian forward Dejan Todorovic (-94) who led his team to a victory with 11 points and 8 rebounds. Center Malick Fall (210-92) contributed with 7 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Clinicas Rincon players scored in double figures. Clinicas Rincon's coach Francis Tome used entire bench in such tough game. Center Antoni Vicens (202-90) replied with 21 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Oscar Herrero (182-87) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Fontedoso Carrefour. Clinicas Rincon moved-up to fourth place. Fontedoso Carrefour lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with 11 games lost. Clinicas Rincon will face Castello (#8) in Castellon in the next round.
