Rather predictable result when fourth ranked S. La Spezia (15-5) defeated at home 6th ranked Ancona (12-9) 64-57. S. La Spezia had a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for the former international forward Silvia Favento (185-85) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 9 rebounds. International center Maria Laterza (190-89, college: Marist, agency: Two Points) contributed with 11 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four S. La Spezia players scored in double figures. S. La Spezia's coach Dragomir Bukvic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
