Rather expected game when 11th ranked Limoges CSP Elite (8-11) was defeated at home by eighth ranked Chorale de Roanne (10-10) 90-77 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Chorale de Roanne. Limoges CSP Elite was better in second period 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Chorale de Roanne made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Chorale de Roanne especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Chorale de Roanne made 7 blocks. Limoges CSP Elite was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Chorale de Roanne will face league's second-placed Strasbourg IG at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Limoges CSP Elite will play against STB Le Havre (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
