Regular Season Round 19: LF Future - Solna Branten 93-83

Rather predictable result when fourth ranked LF Future (13-4) won against 6th ranked Solna Branten (9-9) in Lulea 93-83 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by LF Future. Solna Branten was better in fourth quarter 28-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. LF Future looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was a very good performance for guard Erik Edin (184-91) who helped to win the game recording 28 points. Naturalized Australian swingman Timothy Kearney (200-86) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four LF Future players scored in double figures. point guard Simon Makkonen (185-94) answered with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Jesper Eliasson (204-94) added 17 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Solna Branten. The victory was the third consecutive win for LF Future. They moved-up to third place in North. Loser Solna Branten keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. LF Future will face Alvik Basket (#7) in Bromma in the next round. Solna Branten will play at home against the league's leader Taby Basket.
