The game in Zaragoza was also worth to mention about. One of their biggest challengers Valencia Basket (13-9) played at the court of seventh ranked CAI Zaragoza (13-9). CAI Zaragoza defeated Valencia Basket 76-62. The game was mostly controlled by CAI Zaragoza. Valencia Basket was better in third quarter 22-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. CAI Zaragoza made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Valencia Basket was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Dutch center Henk Norel (214-87) notched 17 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and Belgian point guard Sam Van Rossom (188-86) supported him with 17 points. Four CAI Zaragoza players scored in double figures. Even 15 points and 8 rebounds by American forward Justin Doellman (206-85, college: Xavier) did not help to save the game for Valencia Basket. point guard Pau Ribas (193-87) added 15 points for lost side. Valencia Basket's coach rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. CAI Zaragoza moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Valencia and G.Canaria 2014. CAI Zaragoza will play against Blusens Monbus (#11) in Santoago de Comp in the next round where they are favorite. Valencia Basket will play at home against Cajasol (#14) in Sevilla and hopes to get back on the winning track.
