Very predictable result in Sassari where second ranked Banco di Sard. (16-4) defeated 14th ranked VL Pesaro (5-15) 87-76 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 43-31 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Drake Diener (196-81, college: De Paul, agency: Priority Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists and Polish forward Michal Ignerski (207-80, college: Mississippi St., agency: Stanley International) who added 21 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) during the contest.
