The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Torino (20-4) on the court of thirteenth ranked Mirandola on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Mirandola 83-73. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Torino. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Mirandola made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. Point guard Jordan Losi (182-80) scored 21 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Luca Pignatti (195-86) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Mirandola players scored in double figures. point guard Lorenzo Gergati (188-84) responded with 30 points and naturalized Polish power forward Jakub Wojciechowski (210-90) scored 9 points and 10 rebounds. Mirandola (11-13) moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Chieti. Torino at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. Mirandola is looking forward to face Perugia (#18) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Torino will play against Reggio Calabr. (#10) in Reggio Calabria and is hoping to win this game.
