An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Kfar Blum. Second ranked Hap.Petah Tikva faced 4th placed Galil Elion. Guests from Petah Tikva (8-11) defeated host Galil Elion (6-13) 84-76. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 23-18. But Galil Elion won second period 17-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hap.Petah Tikva made 18-of-19 charity shots (94.7 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Galil Elion turnovers and outrebounded them 39-24 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard Rebekah Gardner (185-90, college: UCLA) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Hap.Petah Tikva players scored in double figures. American forward Christine Flores (190-90, college: Missouri) answered with 29 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks and the other American import forward Adaora Elonu (185-90, college: Texas A&M) added 19 points and 4 assists in the effort for Galil Elion. Hap.Petah Tikva keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Galil Elion lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with 13 games lost.
