Undefeated Grodno-93 (21-1) recorded its first loss in Osipovichi on Tuesday night. Visitors were defeated by sixth ranked Svisloch (8-14) 66-58. It ended at the same time the 21-game winning streak of Grodno-93. Grodno-93 was trailing by 3 points at halftime but managed to get 6-point lead after three quarters before a 30-16 charge of Svisloch, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was Ukrainian forward Maks Adam Konate (200-91) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds. point guard Oleksandr Dolenko (191-90) chipped in 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Svisloch players scored in double figures. The former international guard Dzmitry Kuzmin (196-75) produced 11 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and the former international forward Kanstantin Yafremov (202-86, agency: Promotex) added 14 points respectively for the guests. Svisloch moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Impuls BGUIR. Grodno-93 at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. Svisloch is looking forward to face Impuls BGUIR (#6) in Minsk in the next round. Grodno-93 will play at home against Rubon (#3) in Vitebsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
