Rather expected game when 14th ranked Biassono (1-21) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Valmadrera (7-15) 67-51. Valmadrera outrebounded Biassono 41-30 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Polish-French center Karolina Piotrkiewicz (190-84, college: Liberty, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Claudia Bussola (171-84) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Swingman Sara Canova (174-89) replied with 12 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Giulia Porro (166-95) added 16 points in the effort for Biassono.
