An interesting game for Sundsvall Dragons (26-5) which hosted in Sundsvall 4th placed Boras Basket (21-10). First ranked Sundsvall Dragons had an easy win 111-88. The game without a history. Sundsvall Dragons led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Sundsvall Dragons outrebounded Boras Basket 55-34 including a 46-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Michael Cuffee (195-83, college: Middle Tenn.St.) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Icelandic forward Hlynur Baeringsson (200-82) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Sundsvall Dragons players scored in double figures. Sundsvall Dragons' coach Peter Oqvist felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Christopher McKnight (201-87, college: Akron) answered with 25 points and 9 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and the former international center Michael Palm (209-79, college: W.Washington, agency: R.H.Consultancy) added 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks in the effort for Boras Basket. Sundsvall Dragons maintains first place with 26-5 record. Boras Basket at the other side keeps the fourth position with ten games lost. Sundsvall Dragons are looking forward to face league's second-placed Uppsala Basket at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Boras Basket will play against LF Basket in Lulea and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
