There was a surprise result when fourteenth ranked Cajasol (9-14) beat on the road higher ranked Valencia Basket (13-10) 72-66 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 21-9 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Cajasol made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Valencia Basket was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Czech point guard Tomas Satoransky (201-91) who scored 16 points. Center Juan Triguero (208-83) chipped in 7 points and 10 rebounds. Cajasol's coach Garcia Aito Reneses used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
