The game between Top Four teams took place in Kanagawa. Third ranked host Toshiba Thunders (23-13) smashed one of their biggest challengers Panasonic Trians (20-16) 101-75. The game was mostly controlled by Toshiba Thunders. Panasonic Trians was better in third quarter 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Toshiba Thunders maintains third position with 23-13 record having five points less than leader Toyota Alvark. Panasonic Trians lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with 16 games lost. Toshiba Thunders will face league's leader Toyota Alvark in Tokyo in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Panasonic Trians will play at home against Mitsubishi Dolphins in Nagoya.
