Regular Season Round 26: MOSiR Krosno - AZS Radex 67-61

There was no surprise when 9th ranked AZS Radex (13-13) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked MOSiR Krosno (15-11) 67-61. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts were already 11 points ahead at halftime and as many as 16 after three quarters before a 22-12 last quarter charge of AZS Radex cut the lead to 67-61 at the end of the game. Point guard Dariusz Oczkowicz (183-81) notched 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and forward Andrzej Misiewicz (201-84, college: Daytona Beach CC) supported him with 9 points and 11 rebounds. Even 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists by point guard Lukasz Pacocha (182-82, agency: Promotex) did not help to save the game for AZS Radex. Center Karol Pytys (202-85) added 7 points and 10 rebounds for the guests. AZS Radex's coach Zbigniew Majcherek tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. MOSiR Krosno maintains fourth position with 15-11 record. AZS Radex at the other side keeps the ninth place with 13 games lost. MOSiR Krosno's next round opponent will be Polonia (#11) in Przemysl and are hoping to win another game. AZS Radex will play at home against Spojnia in Stargard and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
