Eighth-ranked Weert (12-16) made lots of trouble for third ranked Groningen (20-9) on Saturday. The visitors from Groningen managed to secure only two-point victory 84-82. However their fans expected much easier game. Weert cut a 25-point halftime deficit to two at the end of the game.
