There was a change at the Damligan leadership position after last games. Round 1 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Solna Vikings (3-1). They were crushed by third ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (2-2) 67-40 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Solna Vikings. The game without a history. Norrkoping Dolphins led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Solna Vikings to just 6 points in first quarter. Norrkoping Dolphins held Solna Vikings to an opponent 24.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 38.2 percent accuracy of the winners. Norrkoping Dolphins forced 22 Solna Vikings turnovers and outrebounded them 50-29 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward Lykendra Johnson (185-89, college: Michigan St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners and the former international guard Johanna Kallman (172-87) chipped in 11 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Norrkoping Dolphins maintains third place in Group 1 with 2-2 record having twenty three point less than leader Sallen. Solna Vikings at the other side dropped to the second position with one game lost. They share it with Northland. They were replaced at the leadership position by Sallen. Solna Vikings will play next round against league's leader Northland trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Norrkoping Dolphins will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Telge at home.
