An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Luxembourg. Second ranked Racing faced 3rd placed Telstar. Host Racing (2-1) smashed guests from Hesperange (1-2) 84-49. Racing dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Telstar's 34. Racing forced 26 Telstar turnovers and outrebounded them 59-36 including a 26-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. American swingman Kayla Tetschlag (182-89, college: Wisc.-Green Bay) nailed a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!), 26 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and her fellow American import power forward Celeste Stevenson (180-82, college: W.Texas A&M) accounted for 21 points and 16 rebounds. Four Racing players scored in double figures. Romanian guard Ildiko Vass (178-78) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and center Noemie Schroeder (178-93) added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Telstar in the defeat. Telstar's coach Attila Veres gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Racing maintains second place in League with 2-1 record behind leader Basket Esch. Newly promoted Telstar keeps the third position with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
