Regular Season Round 39: Takamatsu FA - Iwate Big Bulls 89-92

Seventh-ranked Takamatsu FA (13-23) made lots of trouble for third ranked Iwate Big Bulls (25-12) on Saturday. The visitors from Iwate managed to secure only three-point victory 92-89. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests trailed by 9 points after three quarters before their 28-27 charge, which allowed them to win the game. The game was also dominated by American players. It was a great evening for forward Carlos Dixon (201-81, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Top Notch Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 40 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. Center Dillion Sneed (203-84, college: E.Tenn.St., agency: Top Notch Sports) helped adding 22 points and 15 rebounds. The best for the losing side was swingman Dexter Lyons (198-81, college: Cent.Florida, agency: I.D.S. Law) with 30 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and power forward Paul Williams (208-83, college: St.Bonaventure, agency: I.D.S. Law) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 18 rebounds. Four Takamatsu FA players scored in double figures. Iwate Big Bulls maintains third place with 25-12 record behind leader Okinawa GK, which they share with Fukuoka Rizing. Loser Takamatsu FA keeps the seventh position with 23 games lost. Iwate Big Bulls will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Takamatsu FA will play again against Iwate Big Bulls (#3) and hope to secure a win.
