Regular Season Round 27: Ferrara - Treviglio 71-70

A very close game took place in Ferrara between Naturhouse Ferrara and Treviglio. Fourteenth ranked Naturhouse Ferrara (10-14) got a very close home victory over higher ranked Treviglio (13-11). Naturhouse Ferrara managed to escape with a 1-point win 71-70 on Sunday evening. The hosts trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 17-13 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for power forward Michele Benfatto (205-85) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Michele Ferri (191-85) helped adding 16 points. Four Naturhouse Ferrara players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Matteo Raminelli (203-83) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Simone Ferrarese (182-87) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Newly promoted Naturhouse Ferrara maintains fourteenth place with 10-14 record. Loser Treviglio dropped to the seventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with Lucca. Naturhouse Ferrara will meet Recanati (#15) on the road in the next round. Treviglio will play against the league's second-placed Matera (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
